The Province of Perugia is located in the centre of Italy and is the bigger one of the two provinces of the Umbria Region. Its territory extends for 6334 kmq. and in its surface resides 73,4% of Umbrian population: 606.000 inhabitants.

The Provincia of Perugia is a local Authority with statutory, normative, organisational, administrative and financial autonomy. At the present the Provincia has 981 employees.
